History

Edinburgh's old town has World Heritage status. The building is B listed by Historic Scotland. This part of the High Street dates back as far as the 12th century although the buildings between the Tron Kirk and Parliament Square were destroyed in a great fire in 1824 and the present facades re-built in 1825.
