With an enviable harbour front position and sea views, this characterful and spacious house is only a short stroll from Lower Largo's long sandy beach - an ideal location for a romantic walk or for families to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday, but equally popular for golfers to enjoy the many golf courses within close proximity.
Just a short drive from St Andrews with its world class golf courses, shopping and restaurants. Have a lazy Sunday lie in and gaze out the window at the boats bobbing in the harbour.
The accommodation comprises:
Large lounge; Spacious fully equipped kitchen; 3 bedrooms (king-size, twin and single all on the first floor); 2 bathrooms; Utility room.
The bedrooms are usually set up for 5 guests with extremely comfortable beds, Egyptian cotton linen, fluffy towels and leather sofas you can really relax in.
The house is very comfortably furnished and has its own private patio with garden furniture so you can savour the peace and quiet and appreciate the stunning views over the harbour and out to sea.
Watch the lobster boats bobbing about in the waves or stroll over to the Crusoe Hotel and enjoy a glass of chilled wine on the pier gazing out to sea.
About the location (Lower Largo, Lower Largo)
This stylish, beautifully appointed detached holiday house is in the heart of the quaint village of Lower Largo. The village nestles around a small harbour and from here you can step on to miles of golden sandy beach literally on your door step.
There is a general grocery shop, great local pub called the Railway Tavern and the Crusoe Hotel which does excellent food all within a 2 minute walk of the house so no need to cook if you don't want to.
It is also close to Elie and a 15 minute drive from St Andrews. A large Sainsbury supermarket is only a 10 minute drive from the house so you can stock up when you get here.
After payment of the initial 10% via edlets.com, a further non-returbable 30% is payable directly to your property host on confirmation. Failure to pay this within 7 days will result in your booking being cancelled and any funds paid to date being forfeit.
The remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival (or immediately if within this period).
If you cancel your booking (must be done via e-mail) and we are able to re-let the property, then you will be refunded the final letting price (which may be less than you paid) less the initial instalments and administrative fee of 75GBP.
Cancellation insurance is not compulsory but we strongly recommend such insurance to protect against the cancellation penalty.
Your holiday house will be ready for you by 4 pm on the day of arrival (earlier arrivals are strictly by arrangement only). Please note that departure is by 10.00 on your final day (again, later departures are strictly by arrangement only).
On departure, you are requested to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition. This includes washing up, dishwasher emptied, placing rubbish in bin liners and putting in outside bins, ensuring ovens (and barbecue if appropriate) are clean and free from grease and beds which have been used stripped if at all possible.
We reserve the right to make a charge of £75 for extra cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition.
The number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum number stipulated and agreed on at the time of booking. We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice if this condition is breached. Children over the age of 2, not sleeping in a travel cot, count towards the total number of guests. Guests are welcome to visit but must not stay overnight.
Clients are reminded that this house is strictly non-smoking. All traces of smoking must be removed from patios/gardens etc by the hirer by the end of their occupancy. A charge of £200 will be made for deep cleaning of the property if any guest smoke in the property.
Sorry but no pets are allowed.
We reserve the right to ask for payment of a security deposit with the balance of rental. This is held in case of unreported breakages, loss or damage to items within the property together with any excess cleaning or refuse disposal required after occupancy.
