Fantastic location and beautiful view

We couldn’t have asked for a better situated flat to call our home base while exploring Edinburgh. We were within walking distance to all of our areas of interest including Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh Castle, and Old Town. The flat was as described in the listing. The flat requires gentle treatment and may not be best suited to those who don’t read or follow tenant rules (of which many are explicitly provided by the owner to help preserve the historic nature of the property.) One of our retired parents reported they had difficulty navigating their way into the raised tub to take a shower and felt they needed to crawl into/out of for their own safety.

This is a very spacious flat in a central location. It's bright and open with large windows and overlooks the green space across the road. The refurbished bathroom and the smart heating system are good additions. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. It's a great base to explore Edinburgh.

Mel and Alasdair were super helpful before and during our stay! The place was huge, much bigger than anticipated, and had everything we needed. I was staying there whilst performing at the Edinburgh Playhouse, and it took about 4 mins to get to work each day! Would definitely recommend. Just be sure to keep an eye on how much energy and gas you are using as you may need to pay more for this (although they had already paid enough to use, we just ended up using extra).

Thanks again for a fabulous stay! Will be sure to book with them again if I’m back in Edinburgh! :) x

Mel and Alasdair were fabulous, helping us with anything we needed (including talking us through resetting the boiler at 11pm with no fuss whatsoever). The flat is beautiful, a little chilly but the heating works wonders and we were there in the dead of winter. Everything was provided in the kitchen and there was plenty of space. Perfect location. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Wonderful 2 bedroom flat in the heart of Edinburgh. The very-well maintained and clean flat is bright and very spacious, and has everything one needs for a longer stay. Perfect location, just a few minutes walk from Princes Street and Waverley train station. Would recommend it to any other guests.
