Fantastic apartment for a family of four, felt at home straight away. Great location to walk to most places in Edinburgh. Range of supermarkets nearby and after a long day of walking and attending Fringe events, we could pick up food to relax back at the apartment. Would definitely stay here again.

We are a group of 5 that stayed in Edinburgh over new years eve 2016. The location was perfect just at the end of princes street and next to all the attractions i.e the castle which was a 15 min walk, gin tasting and whisky tasting. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. The lounge had a perfect fold our bed and lots of games and DVDs for you to watch and play. I will definitely recommend this apartment to everyone that is travelling there. The location is definitely the selling point for this one.

Fabulous apartment in a brilliant location

Fabulous, well equipped apartment which is situated in the heart of Edinburgh's West End, minutes from Haymarket, Princes Street, Grassmarket and the Castle which are all easily walkable. Ideal for a family of 4 like us but could also accommodate 6.

Our host Tanya had great communication from us booking over Christmas.

Ideal for those travelling without a car however local parking is easily available but expensive. Free parking is available a short bus ride away at Roseburn if needed.

The apartment is situated on a busy street which has car, bus and tram routes that run past, allowing easy access to much of the city. The noise isn't what might be expected (given many buses are electric) and all traffic quietens down by late evening (8/9pm). The large bedroom is at the rear of the flat, with the twin and living room at the front - the 2 front rooms facing any noise. Kids (12 and 9) had no trouble sleeping in the front bedroom and we had a couple of nights in and we're not disturbed by traffic noise.

Shutters in both bedrooms work and keep bedrooms nicely dark for those deserving of a lie in. Beds are all comfortable and with plenty of bedding and blankets for the colder weather that Scotland can produce, however the central heating meant the whole apartment was very comfortable.

The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked a Christmas dinner with no trouble at all. Be careful of the oven which runs very hot. That said there are so many great restaurants walkable from the apartment, we didn't need to use it much more than once!

In summary, great apartment, great location, well equipped and great value for money. We will definitely book again and thoroughly recommend !

Big and comfortable flat next to the center

We found it a really good flat, one big bedroom and a little one, but both comfortable. Wide dinning room where to relax and capable to receive up to 6 people without problems, for dinner or just chill. All the rooms have high ceiling, good feeling. Excellent quality/price and location, 5 minutes walking to the center and far from the traffic and noise.
For sure we suggest the place, for 2 people is perfect.
