Ed fringe accommodation

The price of this place was competitive with what else was out there and on offer during the Fringe. (Realistically too expensive under any other circumstances than the Ed Fringe... but compared to what others were paying, I felt like I scored somewhat of a bargain).
I'd been told the place had been refurbed and maybe it had but there were still knocked walls, scuffed items, things like that, which you'd probably expect in student dorms.
There is a laundry room on the grounds which is convenient and the machines are great (if a little pricey). You have to operate them on an app. Make sure you download the right one. (Its icon is red and blue). A few from my team accidentally downloaded a similar but incorrect one.
No lift but the stairs aren't too difficult.
One thing I'd love for them to do is to put toilet seats on which are the correct size. (they are a size too small for the actual base and it's odd and a bit slippy-slidey if you move at all whilst sat on them).
The showers have great heat and water pressure.
Staff, including both FOH and cleaners/repairs were excellent and helped solve/sort any problems we were having. Bonus stars to them.
Parking is limited but available on site and that was an unexpected perk.
The area of Fountainbridge it is in is only a short walk away from Grassmarket (6-8 minutes away depending on how much you hustle).
I'd reserve this place again if the price was right for future Fringe business.

Stayed here during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with 8 students for their show. The staff were really helpful, especially when we got locked out of our rooms (I do think having two keycards for each room in preparation for big groups coming to stay would be a good idea for the future). The accommodation was kitted out well - we had no troubles with the water, cooker etc. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you!

Fab apartment for large group during fringe.

The apartment was perfect for a large group of people to stay together during the fringe. Location was excellent, just a short walk to all the festival sites. Beds were very comfy and there was an iron and ironing board available for use in the apartment.
Check-in and check out was very easy and the staff were very friendly.
The only downside was the other amenities in the apartment were very bare - no substantial kitchen utensils (baking tray, sharp knives etc)
