Check in/out Check-in is between 4p.m. and 10p.m. on the day of arrival. Check-out time is before 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure. Please contact us as soon as your travel arrangements are confirmed (and at least three days prior to your arrival) to confirm the expected time of arrival with us. Arrivals at antisocial times (from 10 p.m. onward) and late departures to 12:00 p.m. may incur a modest fee of £25. We offer both face-to-face and contactless check-in options.
Payment of balance If the booking is placed more than 250 days prior to arrival, the guest will initially be charged 10% of the total rental fee. Once the booking is within 250 days, the guests will be charged 50 % of the remaining balance which will be required to be paid at latest 120 days prior to arrival. The remainder of the balance will be charged 56 days prior to arrival. If the booking is placed within 56 days of the arrival date the full balance will be required to be paid.
Security deposit A refundable security deposit of £500 will be required for your booking to ensure that no damage is done to the property or its contents.
Cancellation policies Coronavirus cancellation policy (for arrivals before 30th September 2021) Due to the Corona virus pandemic we have offered a more relaxed cancellation policy for bookings up until 30th September 2021. Under this policy guests will be entitled to a full refund if they are forced to cancel their trip due to government coronavirus restrictions. If the guests should cancel for any other reasons prior to 30th September 2021 the following conditions apply:
Cancellation over 15 days prior to arrival - Guests will receive a full refund minus a £30 admin fee. Cancellation within 15 days of arrival - Guests will be charged in full.
Standard cancellation policy (for arrivals after 1st October 2021) The initial instalment of 10% is non-refundable. Over 6 months prior to arrival - Guests will receive a full refund of the remaining balance minus a £50 admin fee. Up to 56 days prior to arrival - Guests will be charged 25% of the rental fee. 55 -30 days prior to arrival - Guests will be charged 50% of the rental fee. 29 days or less - Full rental fee will be charged

Parking Information There is strictly no parking at Ramsay Garden for visitors and non-residents. Ramsay Garden is a private residential area. All existing residents are required to apply for a parking permit to park in the private residential area, so there is no allocated parking bay for visitors and any guests who booked to stay in the apartment. As a guest, you can unload the luggage in the Ramsay Garden car park for a maximum of 10 minutes. Please do not stop your car there for more than 10 minutes, as the Association monitors the usage of the car park. Any car parked inside Ramsay Garden without authorisation or permission will face a penalty and the Association reserves the right to move the car without notice. If you have a car, the best parking option is to use the multi-storey car park at Castle Terrace. This car park is located in Edinburgh city centre and only a 13 minute walk to Ramsay Garden. Restrictions This apartment accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. No unregistered guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight. Parties, events, and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. All guests must comply with our other house rules regarding noise and the neighborhood. Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour. Guests must not behave in a way which causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to any person; or which amounts to harassment of any person; or causes damage to anyone's property. This includes high levels of noise and drunken or threatening behaviour, which is strictly prohibited. No pets are allowed. Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:30 a.m. Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles, or incense burners. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or outside the apartment building. Access to the back garden is not permitted.
