Review of rose lane 1 bedroom apartment.

My husband and I were holidaying, visiting Edinburgh for the first time.
We found Edlets and this flat on the internet and contacted them directly. Alana put us in touch with the owner and both she and Paul were very obliging.
If you are looking for 5 star accommodation with everything new, bright and shiny, this flat is not for you. The building is old. According to the internet, the New Town was built between 170 and 250 years ago so the wooden floorboards do creak. However, there is plenty of room, comfortable furniture, the kitchen has everything you'll need and the bed is comfortable.
The location is superb. Rose Street is one street back from Princes Street, the main street in New Town so everything is within walking distance. Rose Street has numerous pubs and restaurants and, for groceries, both Sainsburys and Marks and Spencers within about 200 metres.
We would definitely stay here again.

Every was good from the early check in. Mr Paul was extremely flexible and cooperative with us to facilitate any thing related to usage of the property equipments and how the self check in and out process.

The property situated in a good location with all restaurants and shops just few minutes walk.

Great apartment on a lively, downtown street. Everything is close; food, drinks, small stores and a grocery store.

The host is responsive and kind.

Enjoyed it immensely.

We stayed here as a group of 3 for two nights. The flat is in a very central location in the centre of Edinburgh but also minimal street noise considering location. Paul’s communication was very good and he was very thorough with information. The flat is excellent value for money, especially for Edinburgh. Only criticism would be for a little more attention to cleaning.

Perfectly located great value stay

We spent 2 nights here as a couple based on a recommendation from a friend who had stayed previously. The apartment was perfectly located and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication from Paul was great. We were able to access the property via a key safe and received comprehensive instructions on how to work everything. The bed was very comfy and it was surprisingly quiet for the central location. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants and we found a small Co- op store round the corner for essentials. We felt it was a great value stay and would happily return and recommend to others.

Great stay in centre of city for the fringe festival

Paul the owner met us at the flat and his contact before our visit was excellent. When we arrived he took us around the flat, explaining how the shower worked etc and we had tea,coffee, shortbread and milk left for us. Flat is in perfect location on Rose Street parallel to Princes Street and near shops and main attractions with some lovely pubs for food and drink. Ideal for a visit to the Fringe with easy access to the venues by foot - the Assembly Rooms are next door - or by bus from Princes Street. Flat is very clean and comfortable and would not hesitate to stay again.

I think the agency did a good job, but I think its a good idea to check themselfes now and then what they rent out!

We stayed here for a work trip to the Edinburgh Festival. The owner was really helpful and explained everything in the flat, as well as useful things in the local area. Easy to get in and out, and get keys.

It was clean, had all the things we needed like a kettle etc. and did the job of a comfortable place to stay for the week.
