A prospective guest will send an enquiry to you by email, this will include their dates and the number of people that require accommodation, they may also send you a message. You respond by filling in the Total Charge box with the total price you wish to charge including Edlets fee of 12%+VAT (This works out at 15%) and writing a message if you wish. If you decide you do not want to offer the guest accommodation you can decline the booking at any time before the guest books.
The guest may send you a message back or they may book online with a credit or debit card. If they book you and the guest will receive a confirmation email with the full contact details for both parties. You should then contact the guest to advise them of your payment terms and the procedure for meeting them on arrival.
Contacting the guest and the arrival procedure
When a guest arrives at the airport or train station make sure they know how to find your accommodation. You should email them with instructions of how to get to your property after they book. Providing clear instructions will ensure guests arrival goes smoothly this will prevent unnecessary delays and frustrated guests. Make sure you provide a working telephone number that they can contact you on, it's also a good idea to provide a back up contact persons telephone number in case of emergencies.
