I rented this lovely flat for a year, while my daughter pursued her post-graduate studies, so we experienced it as residents, rather than as visitors. The location is beautiful, since it is almost next door to the Royal Botanical Gardens, and the Water of Leith runs just behind the building. The flat was super clean when we arrived and very comfortable to live in, with all the amenities we needed, and lovely views of major landmarks in the city. I would recommend it to anyone looking for either a short or longer-term stay. I should also mention that the flat is on the top floor of an old four-storey building, so you need to be fit enough to manage the stairs. Many thanks to the owner for her quick and consistent response to our queries and requests!
