Family trip to edinburgh

We stayed in one of the three bedroom apartments for three nights during the festival. I was traveling with my partner two kids and my father. The flexibility to set up the rooms with different bed option was really handy. Great experience all around apartment was obviously professionally outfitted to be a rental with everything you could need. Excellent communication with Edlets very easy check in and check out procedure. Location is excellent 15 mins walk to the train station and steps onto the Royal Mile.

Amazing location, close enough to everything but tucked away in a nice quiet location.
Everything was clean and tidy and equipped with everything you could want.

We rented two flats in the same complex for a group of friends. The location and set up of the apartments were fantastic. We were given a choice of how the beds should be set up (single or double). The living room and kitchen area were well equipped. Would definitely book again for similar trips.

This is a real gem. A lovely spacious apartment with plenty of bathrooms. Well equipped. And just a hop and a skip from the station. Although with a parking space as well it’s a real gem.
Very good location for all the festival venues .

The apartment was very well located and the check in procedure very easy. A good bonus was being able to leave our packed suitcases in the flat on the morning of our departure until our train, so we did not have to carry them around. All was very clean, beds very comfortable - useful that all rooms could be either double or twin as requested. Tiny issues with locks on bathrooms and one of the blinds not working properly, we would also suggest more cooking equipment in the kitchen.

But overall an excellent place to stay, we would certainly return.

I have just returned from Edinburgh festival having stayed in royal mile apartment with 4 friends. The apartment was clean throughout and kitchen very well stocked with fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. All beds very clean and comfy. Reasonable cost and very close to train station, festival venues and castle (for tattoo). Would definitely use this apartment again.

Another great stay at Tolbooth Wynd

We stayed here over Hogmanay 2018/2019.

This is the second time I have rented an apartment in this development and, as before, it really served us well as it is in an excellent location.

Unfortunately we found the key safe box extremely fiddly and we could not get it to open and had to call for assistance. Some instructions on how to open the box would have saved us the frustration (same goes for the lamp whose bulb appeared to blow).

We had a few other glitches involving the lounge fire, the ignition of the gas hobs and we couldn't get the dining room table to extend (some instructions would have been useful) but each one of our complaints was dealt with quickly and professionally.

I brought my mother and sister and we've had Australian friends over for Ne'er's Day dinner. At 84 my mother was grateful for the lift :)

We would definitely recommend this apartment complex and we shall definitely be back.

We stayed here between Christmas and New Year and it was a great, quiet location off the Royal Mile. The 3.5 bathrooms were amazing for a family of 7 and the flat was spotless. If I had any minor complaints it was that the ground floor bedroom is a bit too small for a king-size bed - it was impossible to fully open the door to the closet and there was very little room for maneuvering around. Also, the floors in general were creaky so, again, mostly impacted those in the ground floor bedroom. Overall, though, would highly recommend for location, facilities and cleanliness. Service also excellent, as allowed last-minute late check-out and that was a huge help.

5 of us sharing an apartment for 3 nights /4 days at the festival . Customer service has been faultless -the beds were made up as singles as I requested on booking . 2 of the party slept on 2 single mezzanine beds accessed by spiral stairs up above the lounge in a room with raised ceiling and a balcony . The other two bedrooms had en suites and there was also a separate bathroom and toilet .Any of my telephone queries and e mails before and during our stay were dealt with very promptly and efficiently . We were able to leave bags before checking in and collecting the key and gaining access was exactly as the information sheet . Spotlessly clean and modern apartments in fantastic central spot for walking everywhere . Loads of cafes , restaurants ans Sainsbury local within 5 minutes walking .Comfy beds , great kitchen with table to eat round and plenty of room for all of us on comfy sofas after getting back late. I have stayed in some pretty poor accommodation over the years for festival visits but this was one of the best .

Old tollbooth wynd

The house is in a great location, it was let down by having a poor inventory of kitchen utensils. There were very few clothes hangers in the wardrobes which meant we were living out of suitcases. Apart from that this is a good place to stay. It would benefit from a proper face to face handover instead of a key safe system.

A perfect location for the fringe venues. Just a short walk from Pleasance Courtyard.
A spacious apartment with all that you need. Great to find 2 ensuites, and a further bathroom!
We would definitely consider staying here again. Also fairly quiet off the main road.

Number 24 - convenient but expensive

We needed a central location where we could park but then leave the car (as trying to drive anywhere in central Edinburgh during the Festival is a nightmare) so this was ideal. The door of the bedroom on the ground floor does not shut and it is very cramped but the beds were comfortable, the linen and towels were fine and there was plenty of hot water. There were only four of us but we did notice that though there were seven beds there were only six chairs. The kitchen lacks some equipment we would have expected such as a teapot, a baking sheet or tray for the oven, a chopping board, a potato peeler, a sieve or colander and a bread bin. What was disappointing bearing in mind the price being charged was to find the ironing board was broken also parts of the fridge interior, as well as only rudimentary repairs having been made to damaged doors. Replacement of the delaminated woodwork in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as some redecoration would make all the difference!

A convenient townhouse in edinburgh

We were a party of six females and stayed in this townhouse just off the Royal Mile. It was so convenient. Just a couple of little things however, the bedroom on the ground floor was a little small. My friends had to move the twin beds together in order to get into the wardrobe. The bedroom on the third floor (without an en-suite) could have done with a mirror close to a power point in order to use the hairdryer.
One of our bath towels was unfortunately dirty but Easylets very promptly changed this. We would certainly stay here again.
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival was fantastic.

Great apartment, actually more like a Townhouse as it was split over three levels. Four of us stayed here very comfortably. Two of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms; myself and my friend shared the main bathroom and the fourth was on the middle level, convenient for the lounge, well-appointed kitchen and dining area.

Clean, bright, spacious and in an absolutely great location just off the Canongate on the Royal Mile. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Old Tolbooth Wynd apartments.

My only bugbear - and not to do with the apartment - is that Michaela said she would send someone to pick my friends up (arriving from England early into Waverley railway station) so they could drop their luggage at the apartment - but when they phoned as planned they were told it would be quicker to walk. I thought this was an agency who offered to go the extra mile for their guests, thus ensuring repeat business - but actually more disappointed that the pick-up was offered in the first place then my friends were let down.

Wonderful stay in beautiful apartments

Myself and six other professional people recently stayed in two of the Edlets apartments on the old tollbooth wynd and what a wonderful stay we had. Both apartments were beautifully clean, warm and comfortable with all the amenities we could have needed. Edlets were fantastic in every way and extremely reasonably priced, especially considering the quality and space of the apartments and the secure parking faculties available to us. They were friendly and professional and responded to any queries quickly and efficiently. I would definitely happily recommend both this company and these apartments to anybody and shall look forward to staying with them again very soon.
