8 of us stayed in a 4 bed flat in the Meadows for the 4th time. The Meadows is brilliantly located and perfect for our needs in every respect. We shall stay again!

Wonderful central position for all the Fringe venues, restaurants and bus routes. Clean and comfortable. We would definitely book again!

What fantastic accommodation for us 60+ year olds! We were a bit apprehensive as thought students at our age! The accommodation was spotless, comfy and we would definitely recommend and book again. Thank you so much as such an excellent service too being able to leave our cases before and after our stay.

Our stay at chalmers street 17 - 20 august 2018

We were delighted with the position of the accommodation - only 10-15 minutes walk away from where it was all happening!. Rooms and kitchen etc were spotless and perfectly comfortable. The 1.5 double beds are a bit of a problem, though - definitely too small for two adults and we had to use a camp bed to supplement the main bed.,
Is there anything a little bigger with a proper double bed - we will definitely be returning.
Thanks for a delightful stay.

Ideal for fringe company

a few minor surprises (TV was in a central common room not the flat ) this was a very good option for us. We were 5 fringe performers and needed to be close to the centre of town. The location was perfect. Very expensive laundry charges that would have been less painful if the machines had worked properly. Kitchen could have been slightly better equipped but this issue was sorted by a quick trip to Tesco for a roasting dish and frying pan. Doubt it would be a deal breaker for anyone else. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We'll definitely be back!

Convenient and clean

The apartment had 4 'small' doubles (which are really generous singles in terms of mattresses, with v limited floor space) + Good location, close to much of the action + Clean and modern + Secure and easy to arrive/leave + Like a budget hotel + good hot water + sheets changed half way through the week + kettle, toaster, fridge, electric (not induction) hobb + easy to book, close to the meadows so close to the park and major Edfringe venues
- Long, thin corridor with 6 doors off it, 1 for each of the 4 rooms and 1 for bathroom, and 1 for the kitchen at the end. You can't leave the kitchen door open due to alarm - All doors have their own key card, with strong spring, so you are pretty isolated in each room once in - 2 rooms have tiny en-suites, 2 use the bathroom only - Towels of decent quality. No bath mat, though, so water on floor stays - Kitchen is given very limited equipment, of low quality (e.g. v thin bread knife, no larger serving plates) - Not much of an 'atmosphere' - very functional and it feels like 4 separate rooms rather than an apartment.
Overall, it was decent value and easy to use, with decent reception. But not charming.
