Quiet, central and well equipped

A lovely flat, close to Stockbridge shops, and an easy walk to Princes Street. Well equipped, well maintained and very comfortable.

Spent a very pleasant 4 days up at the fringe, the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped in a great location for both Stockton and New Town.

Absolutely no issues with the accommodation, there were 5 of us in the flat and none of us had any complaints. It was a lot better than the one we stayed at 2 years ago which was a lot more expensive.

The owners left us some nice arrival treats as well !

Me and my husband stayed in the flat as a temporary measure whilst awaiting our new build to be completed.

The location is ideal and it was lovely to get a chance to explore Stockbridge. The city centre is very close and the private parking space (garage) was a big selling point.

The flat was well furnished and felt cosy and home like. As we like to cook from scratch and I like to bake, the only downside was not having a few essential items such as a measuring jug or baking trays.

When we've needed to contact Mike and Linda they have always been very friendly and professional.

Would not hesitate to stay again if we needed to!

We spent 5 months living in Mike's flat while working at the Edinburgh Playhouse. The flat is comfortable and well looked after. Mike is very quick to respond to any issues, not that we had many! Great location with lovely views out to the Firth.

My husband and I stayed at this flat for three months. We really loved our stay. The flat is warm and has everything you might need in the kitchen. The bed is super comfortable. The main bedroom is a good size, the second is quite a bit smaller but we only used that for the occasional guest.

The landlords are lovely. They are keen to stay in touch and respond quickly. We didn't meet them on arrival, but getting the keys was a very easy process. Our cleaning deposit was returned promptly.

The flat is on the top floor of a seven story building with a lift. The top floor location means you have a delightful outlook over Stockbridge houses and trees and it feels very private. It was also fairly quiet - we didn't hear much noise from our neighbours. There is a bike store in the basement if you need it.

The location is fantastic. Stockbridge is a wonderful little area just 15 mins walk to Princes Street, and it has a village feel. There are more restaurants in that area than I could count, plus delis, cheesemongers, butchers, and almost as many vintage stores as restaurants. We felt really privileged to be a local for a short while in this area. There are good bus connections near the flat which I used regularly.

We would not hesitate to return to this flat if we came back to Edinburgh for any length of time.

We had a wonderful stay and this beautiful flat that was in a great location. It was easy to walk into Edinburgh for all the attractions of the fringe. It was a bright light flat with lots of space and everything we needed. We were looked after very well by the owners in all information before our stay and they also left some lovely welcome items for us tea, coffee etc which was greatly appreciated.

My wife and I stayed in the flat for four months on a post-retirement vacation. The flat was clean and offered us all we needed with a great location in Stockbridge and walking distance from the city center. Wonderful 7th floor views and we rarely heard any neighbor noise and any we did hear was just normal coming and going hall noise. All our Scottish and American friends who visited were very impressed with the flat. The only unexpected adjustment we had to make was for the electric drying rack, as we thought it would be an electric tumbler dryer; but as I say we adjusted well. Michael met us at our arrival to the flat, accommodating for our day late arrival, and showed us around the flat. He also returned to fix the oven door that had come off its hinge. We were sad to leave and we will definitely request a repeated stay on our next stay in Edinburgh.

Terrific apartment with parking in a convenient location

I stayed here for a week while in Edinburgh for work and found this apartment to be perfect for my needs. The location was ideal for me, being 5 minutes from where I was working in the New Town.

The apartment itself was well equipped, clean, comfortable and very easy to live in for a short stay. The host was friendly and helpful.

There is a private garage, which is a great benefit to guests since parking can be hard to find and expensive in the city.

We had to change arrival time on day of arrival due to flight changes and the owners were most accommodating and helpful. Everything was well explained and a nice welcome pack. I would stay again without hesitation.
