    Such a lovely house: who wouldn't want their own walled garden? I took a hen do to stay here during Fringe and being able to return to our lovely home was a welcome relief from the madness. The hens were thrilled and absolutely loved it.
    It's only a short walk into town so perfect location to get around. You can go through the Meadows too, which is a nice and scenic walk.
    The decour is gorgeous and the house is full of antiques. The four-poster bed in the master bedroom is a dream, but all of the rooms were lovely. Having five bathrooms is always welcome in a house of 14 girls.
    The kitchen has everything you could need - including a dishwasher! The walled garden and sunroom are such nice places for drinks. And the dining table seats 12 - or a few more at a push.
    The neighbours are very friendly - one even took a picture of our hen do for us!
    Stephen the owner is so nice and professional. He responded almost immediately to all of my emails and left us a nice welcome pack and a friendly message on the chalkboard, which was a lovely touch. Having a pin, rather than a key, to get in is also a genius move. Everything was spotless also.
    Can't think of a single complaint - the girls thought the house was wonderful and the hen was thrilled. Can't recommend enough. Especially for the price during Fringe - everyone thought it was such a bargain. Would definitely book again for a big group.
