We required to be in Edinburgh during lockdown. Beautiful house. Would thoroughly recommend.

We loved it here, the situation was fabulous, loads of space, clean & nice decor, every facility.
Only complaint was the blow up bed, no mention was made of the air compressor, which the person who slept on it found on the last morning when stripping the bed, & had found the bed losing air over the 2 days we were there.
Other than that...superb!

Beautiful property, with restaurants, shops, gardens, transport and the castle all walkable (the Castle and Royal Mile area are at the top of a hill and this is at the bottom). We stayed here during the fringe festival and found we could walk to many of the venues. Taxis were available a couple of streets away for those who found the walk uphill to Royal Mile area too much.
The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the welcome pack was great to get us started. The room configuration was flexible enough to suit our family group of 2 couples and 3 singles. It was great to have 3 bathrooms. There are 2 living rooms but we didn't use them as the dining area was comfortable and had lots of daylight so we found it a pleasant place to sit. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, which suited a member of our party who'd had a recent leg injury. Kitchen is on the first floor and other bedrooms are on the second floor.. All door handles were stiff which we all struggled with.
Bedrooms were well equipped with useful items like hairdryer, tissues and plenty of hangers.
We found the key box useful so we could come and go at separate times. Two sets of keys are provided so you don't have to use it.
