This grand central Town House will make your visit to Edinburgh special! With its grand stairwell and large cupola, this rather special and unique Town House offers visitors Palatial-style accommodation. Occupying four floors on the corner of Chester Street, it is ideal for large groups who do not want to be split over several flats and who enjoy historic period features such as very high ceilings and ornate cornice work. There are 3 separate WCs and two bathrooms (both with baths/ showers and WCs.) in the building. There is also a proper table football (Conran shop) on the first floor. No bunk beds or sofa beds in the house at all.
The accommodation comprises:
Ground floor: Entrance lobby.
First Floor: Huge Living room with 32" flatscreen Samsung TV with HDMI input; Kitchen/ Dining Room with large dining table that seats 12+; WC with wash hand basin; Bedroom 1 with double bed.
Second Floor: Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom (one double bed and three single beds) ; Separate WC with wash hand basin Bedroom 3 Large Double bed plus three single beds
Third Floor: Bedroom 4 large double bed and one single bed; Bedroom 5 double bed and two single beds; Marble tiled Bathroom with WC, bath/ shower, wash hand basin. Bedroom 6 2 single beds
The bedding arrangements allow 19 people, sharing 14 beds. Please note that there are additional mattresses that can be used if there are 20 persons, or if some guests prefer not to share beds.
About the location (West End, Edinburgh)
Located in the centre of Edinburgh between Haymarket Station and Princes Street, the townhouse overlooks Drumsheugh Gardens. The property is just 5 mins walk from Haymarket Station, Princes St. and George St (cutting edge centre for bars night clubs restaurants) eliminating the need for taxis.
Attractions that are within a fifteen minutes radius on foot, include: both Modern Art Galleries, Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, Dalry Swimming Pool and beautiful walks along the Water of Leith.
Outdoor activities further afield include: Edinburgh Zoo (see the pandas!), the Royal Botanic Gardens, The Royal Yacht, Urban Paintball, Auld Reekie Tours, Dynamic Earth, The Edinburgh Dungeon, the Butterfly and Insect World, and Hopetoun House.

25% of the remaining balance is payable within a week of booking.
37% of the remaining balance is payable two months prior to the booking
The remainder is payable two weeks before entry to the house.
A refundable security deposit of 350.00GBP is applicable. This should be paid by online bank transfer prior to arrival & will be returned after the property has been checked by our cleaner.
All groups must be accompanied by at least one adult aged 26 years or over.
Check in 1.30 pm (unless by prior arrangement) Check out 10.45 am (unless by prior arrangement)
Guests will be charged £25 per hour if they have not vacated the house by the check out time. This is because the cleaner needs to prepare the house for the next group.
