We came with our 13 year old son to enjoy the Fringe and sight-sea in Edinburgh. The flat was really relaxing and roomy. The only noise pollution we enjoyed was hearing the animals roaring in the morning at Edinburgh zoo! It was easy to get a bus or tram into town. Bill and Gracia are excellent hosts and made us all very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them to fix. Bill rang us to direct us to the flat as our satnav wanted to take us via the tram ways when we were approaching the flat. The welcome pack was full of tasty goodies. It was helpful that they had a few toiletries for use, if needed, as we forgot a toothbrush. The heating is very controllable. The flat is very well kitted out. Everything you may need is there. There was always on street parking and family visited us for lunch, and got parked no problem either. Edlets and the Grants have listed the property appropriately. We would strongly recommend the flat for couples or families heading to the capital. Lovely views over the golf course. The flat is a great base to explore Edinburgh and spacious enough to relax in. We had a 2 week tour of Scotland, staying at 4 venues, some more unusual (sleeping pod) and expensive (lighthouse) to rent but this was the best. Thank you.
