This is a bright and beautifully refurbished traditional lower villa on the west side of Edinburgh, 3 miles from the city centre.
You would be welcome to sit and relax on the bench and enjoy the well maintained front garden.
The drying area at the back of the house is shared whilst the outer edge bordering that area belongs to the neighbours upstairs.
Parking is available, free of charge although there are excellent links into town via bus or tram.
Available for short-term lets and would be suitable for visitors on holiday or travelling on business. Short breaks from 3 nights are available all year excepting July and August when the minimum stay is 7 nights.
Please note that the back garden is shared with only some parts being allocated to our guests - if you wish to use the garden do please ask which areas are available for use.
The accommodation comprises:
East/West facing, lower villa in block of 4 in quiet tree lined avenue within a residential area with parking. There are a few steps leading up from street level and also to the front door.
The accommodation has recently been renovated to the highest of standards, completely decorated, and beautifully furnished to provide a luxurious comfortable stay.
Living room/dining area is a bright room with views over the golf course to Edinburgh Castle. The corner sofa can be converted into a generous double bed for use when there are more than four guests. Fibre optic broadband and cable TV.
Both bedrooms have excellent cupboard/storage space. Bedroom 1 with matching twin divan beds. Bedroom 2 with 1 double bed. All mattresses are new. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Shower room/toilet with large shower;
Kitchen is fitted with fridge freezer, washing machine, electric oven and ceramic hob and microwave. Fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.
There is also a large, walk in cupboard with ample storage space within the hall.

The traditional lower villa is set back off Corstorphine Road and is ideally situated on the West side of the city with easy access to:
Haymarket Railway Station (2.4 miles, approx 7 minute journey)
City Centre (3.9 miles, approx 15 minute journey
Edinburgh International Conference Centre (3.7 miles, approx 11 minute journey) and
It's a short walk to tram stops/links to city centre. 3 stops to station. 5 stops to city centre - 15 minute journey. 7 stops to Edinburgh airport. The trams run every 8 minutes and the travel times are comparable to those noted above travelled by car or bus.
Corstorphine has a variety of small shops for provisions as well as a large 24 hour supermarket. For those who do not wish to cook meals, there are a number of carryout and home delivery services and selection of good restaurants within the area.
Edinbugh Zoo is only a 10 minute walk from the accommodation, and is the area's largest and most popular tourist attraction. .
Corstorphine Road forms part of the A8 main road between Edinburgh and Glasgow. It is only a 45 min train journey to Glasgow.
Please note that this traditional lower villa is strictly non smoking and pets are not allowed.
Normal entry and departure times are 2:00 pm and 10:45 am respectively.
Security Deposit A security deposit of £200 is payable at the time of booking on short lets. This may increase on longer term lets,
This cannot be used to pay the rental amount. This will be refunded to you once the property has been checked after you vacate. Any damage/missing items/extensive cleaning will be charged to your deposit.
All final payments to be received no later than the day of arrival, payment by cash or BACS.
Cancellation - By You
The Guests may cancel their booking at any time. Cancellation must be communicated to the landlord/agents in writing and takes effect from the date received. In the event of cancellation then the following charges become applicable:
Less than 4 weeks prior to arrival date - neither deposit will be refunded.
