Lovely two bed apartment

We came to Edinburgh for 5 days at the Fringe, and this apartment was ideal. For Edinburgh in August it was good value.
It is on the second floor in a quiet, attractive estate; bright and comfortable, with a warm welcome from the owner who was very accommodating around our arrival/departure times.
The basic tea, coffee and sugar are supplied, but you will need to bring everything else you need if you are preparing a meal, including condiments.
It would benefit from some information leaflets on local facilities, activities, places to visit, bus time tables etc.
The closest shops are quite a walk away, not a problem if you arrive by car.
The buses from the edge of the estate into the city are regular and cost the usual 1.70 per trip. Bring loose coins with you unless you use contactless as the driver does not give change.
I would definitely recommend this for a couple or a family looking for accommodation in or around Edinburgh.

We had a wonderful time in Edinburgh attending the Festival, Fringe and Tattoo. The apartment was perfect for myself, my wife and our two daughters: very comfortable, great facilities (easy to cook in) with a family friendly location, close to a supermarket and public transport, a 15 minute drive to City centre. Marjorie is a considerate and helpful host, we would love to stay again.
