Good location with free car parking

Just behind Holyrood Park, this is a good, quiet location with an easy walk up to the centre of town and close to the Scottish Parliament building, but also within easy reach of buses. Free parking makes it very desirable too. We found the plumbing a problem and never had hot water, apart from the electric shower, despite following instructions. Consequently had to boil kettle for dish washing, shaving etc. A very well stocked kitchen. Bed comfortable with a good mattress and clean bedding. The apartment would benefit from some redecorating.

My wife and I stayed at Glenda’s place for three weeks. We enjoyed close proximity to the beautiful Holyrood Park (and palace) and the very short walk to the city and a shopping mall.The flat has all you need to enjoy a warm peaceful stay, it is presented nice and clean, free parking is a plus, and more importantly the host is very warm and welcoming. All in all would definitely stay again if the time comes.

Wonderful place right next to holyrood park and the palace

We came to Edinburgh for a work trip and this apartment was wonderful for us. It had everything we needed, and when we had questions, Glenda quickly and graciously helped us out. It was very quiet. We love walking in Holyrood Park, dhaving it so close by was a luxury!
Our arrival was delayed until around midnight, and when we finally got to the apartment, our bags still in another city, there was milk in the fridge for tea (which we really wanted), snacks and flowers on the table. We were so grateful!

If it's available on our next visit, we'd love to stay again!

I stayed here for 3 weeks as a stop gap between moving homes. It was ideal. It was clean, bright and fresh and Glenda was very welcoming and easy to contact. Only 2 minutes walk into Holyrood Park and a short distance to centre of Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Glenda was a brilliant host, she was always on hand if we needed help and really accommodating.
The flat was ideal for a month for us, great location able to talk into the centre of town and right beside Arthur’s seat. Spacious for a one bedroom flat, the facilities were great including great wifi. Would definitely recommend!
